As summer came to a close and the first day of school drew near, Strickland Family Dentistry was honored to once again partner with Gulf Gate Church for the annual Day4Hope Back-to-School Event—a heartfelt initiative that equips Sarasota children with the tools, care, and encouragement they need for a confident start to the school year.
What is Day4Hope?
Day4Hope is more than just an event—it’s a community movement. Each year, students in need receive essential back-to-school resources such as:
Backpacks and school supplies
Free haircuts and clothing
Vision, medical, and dental screenings
Hygiene items, shoes, and nutritious groceries
It’s a day filled with joy, faith, and generosity, where every child is reminded that they are valued and supported.
From the moment families arrive, the energy is contagious—volunteers cheering, music playing, and children beaming as they receive their new gear. It’s a celebration of community spirit where kindness takes center stage and everyone leaves inspired.
Our Role in the Community
At Strickland Family Dentistry, giving back is part of who we are. During this year’s Day4Hope, our team provided free dental screenings and education to attending children.
